Conversation."So. Are you guys together?"   
John glanced up at Gerryn in irritation as he tossed another towel into the washer.   
"Haven't we had this conversation already? Like, five thousands times?" He snapped.  "Yes, and you've yet to give me a straight answer." Gerryn replied evenly.   
The laundromat was still and silent. Rain pattered against the dirty windows, each droplet stained gold by the streetlights outside. John had the strangest sensation that he and Gerryn were the only two people left in the city. It was a feeling that he usually enjoyed.

Happened yesterday by the way...

I woke up, and got dressed as if i were going outside to go to work..normal day right? I look over and see what I thought was cardboard in the grass, well as I got closer to my car, and the "cardboard" I saw it was Sammy...and he's done this before where he will just sleep in the yard on his side...so I go over to him shake him..stiff as all hell, one eye gouged out, and a huge red blotch on his hind side...as if his stomach or intestines had exploded due to chemicals.

So god help the person who put poison outside to "keep the stray cat population down"...
We buried all his toys with him, and a can of chunk chicken(his last dinner, the huge cans...) and his kitty-pot(catnip)with the things of catnip they came with these plastic hearts, I put half over him, half on top of the mud.

Thing is, this week-ish would have been his third birthday. We know he was born towards the end of April...

Anywhichway, he was a great cat, and he's in a better place, but damn that was a horrible way to wake up...

I am so overwhelmed by this!! Thank you so much for your note--you are exactly the sort of person I posted this for!! I'm so glad someone appreciates the little weird moments of film history--they are rare and I am so glad that someone "gets" it.
